Read the guidelines below before continuing to the ‘how-to’ part of this post:
- Use the guide exclusively for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE with model number N9005.
- don’t try to root any other Galaxy Note 3 models with the files you find here. - Download and install Samsung USB Drivers for your device from here.
- Disable Samsung KIES and all antivirus applications before starting the updating process.
- such apps will interfere with the rooting process. - Enable USB Debugging from Developer Options menu.
- if Developer Options is not listed, then you will need to go to About Phone, open it and then tap seven times on the ‘build number’ section. - Use the guide only if you know what you’re doing. Do not blame us in case you brick the phone or lose any important data in the process.
- Check the battery power level and make sure that it is over 50%, so that your phone won’t power off in the middle of the rooting process.
- Don’t skip any steps and read the entire post before continuing to the interesting part of this article.

- release all buttons when the Warning! menu is show, then press Volume Up to load the Download Mode. - Launch Odin exe on your PC.
- Connect the Note 3 LTE with your computer via USB cable.
- if ODIN doesn’t recognize the device, then you have to re-install the Samsung USB Drivers and then repeat the entire tutorial from step 4. - In Odin, click the PDA button and then browse your PC contents for the CF-Auto-Root tar.md5 file. Load the file in Odin.
